This piece is meant to be a self portrait of some sorts, also tying into how I see myself in a predominantly white community. I feel that with the messages and work I do, i am putting myself in some form of danger, yet I still find joy in what I do. This piece is inspired by artists that have created abstract pieces similar, artists being George Condo, or Takashi Murakami. Both artists are very different but I still find myself gaining inspiration from them daily. Below you will find pieces that I made to go along side the main painting (on the left).
